Paris FC is starting to feel the heat. Despite a solid budget and an ambitious project, the club is currently in a worrying 14th place in Ligue 1. Faced with the specter of relegation, Antoine Arnault is preparing a strong response for the winter transfer window.
The head of PFC has announced it without any ambiguity: the team will be reinforced. Together with Marco Neppe and the entire staff, he is already working on several priority targets. A striker and a midfielder are clearly identified to give more strength to a team that creates chances… but struggles to convert them.
However, Arnault tempers expectations: there is no question of rushing things. Yes, the club needs to react quickly, but no, it is not aiming for Europe in its first year, contrary to the most impatient supporters. “Humility is mandatory,” he notes, reminding that building a club is a long and methodical process.
The owner remains confident: step by step, Paris FC will structure itself, even if the urgency at the bottom of the table requires some immediate investments. The goal is clear: to climb back up and avoid settling dangerously in the relegation zone.
The winter transfer window is therefore expected to be busy for PFC. It remains to be seen if the announced reinforcements will be enough to revive an ambitious project that is still struggling to find its rhythm.
