NFL FANS FUME AS REDZONE SUFFERS TECHNICAL ISSUES MINUTES INTO BROADCAST: 'MY EARS ARE BLEEDING'

NFL RedZone was hampered by technical issues that left fans listening to static instead of game commentary just minutes into the broadcast.

The fan favorite show, hosted by Scott Hanson, had only been on air for less than 10 minutes of its seven-hour broadcast when all sound cut out.

Instead of football news from around the country, viewers were instead treated to white noise for around 10 minutes - with the network seemingly unable to fix the issue.

Fans immediately took to social media with a furious response, as one wrote: 'My ears are bleeding' and another added: 'RedZone didn't have this many issues when it was commercial free.'

Someone else wrote: 'Fix the damn audio on RedZone or give me a refund!'

After around 10 minutes of the static sounds, Hanson's mic cut back in and he continued to host as though nothing had happened.

It is not the first controversy that has surrounded the NFL's flagship Sunday show, after its widely-lauded 'commercial-free' product recently introduced commercials.

Initially, the NFL claimed they would be barely noticeable, with just four short commercials across the entire seven-hour broadcast.

NBC reported last week, though, that RedZone's Week 13 coverage featured 16 ads during the broadcast - a huge increase.
